We serve the base of the pyramid of the Philippine market, which comprises of more than 85% of the population. These underserved communities are the people who need our products and service the most. History

Founded in 1990, Prince Warehouse Club, Inc. is a chain of retail and wholesale stores based in Cebu City, Philippines. Prince opened the pioneering branch at the North Reclamation Area by converting a warehouse into a store with a single cash register initially selling glassware, kitchenware, plastic ware and other household items.

A year later, due to a growing demand from customers, Prince Warehouse Club expanded into selling grocery items, gaining a wide range of customers and wholesalers.

After two years, in 1993, they opened the second store at A.C. Cortes, Mandaue City building a bigger store size than the first. It was again a successful venture, and was later assigned to the brother who is now separately managing the Prince Mandaue chain of stores.

In an effort to continually uphold even higher customer satisfaction, Prince Warehouse Club’s Sari-Sari Store Society (SSS) was organized, which soon became instrumental in empowering sari-sari store owners to grow and be competitive in their neighborhoods.

Over the years, the company expanded its product lines to include furniture, appliances, school and office supplies, garments and footwear, and many more. To date, Prince is known to be a one – stop shop known for its wide variety of affordable Grocery, General Merchandise, and Department Store items. Thriving on a strong commitment to serve the Filipino market, Prince continues to offer the lowest priced high quality merchandise in any town it is located.

With the well-educated second generation, the founder’s children now are occupying key management positions in the organization. The Prince Group has transitioned from the traditional to the dynamic, modern and professional corporation which is now mainly composed of young professionals, driven to expand their footprint in the Philippine retail industry. Stores are now using unique green technology, and the organization upholds the “Base of the Pyramid initiative”, which focuses on serving the Filipinos at the grassroots level, those economically located at the base of the pyramid.

Currently, the Prince group of stores has grown to 29 branches all over Visayas and Mindanao.The chain has branches in North Reclamation Area, Old MCWD building in M.C. Briones, Danao City, Minglanilla, Dalaguete, Argao, and Daanbantayan. Prince has also expanded to other parts of the Visayas: Tanjay and Bayawan in Negros Oriental; Silay, Sagay, Bago, La Carlota and Hinigaran in Negros Occidental;Naval in Biliran province; Baybay, Isabel, Maasin and Abuyog in Leyte; and Guiuan in Samar. Aside from the Visayas area, Prince has branches in Mindanao such as Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte; Bad-as Placer, Surigao Del Norte; Bislig, Surigao Del Sur; Dapitan, Zamboanga Del Norte; Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental; Gingoog, Misamis Oriental; Tandag, Surigao del Sur; Bayugan and Prosperidad in Agusan del Sur.

Today, the Prince Retail Group of companies upholds the empowerment of its total workforce through a strong adherence to its values and commitment to render the highest customer service satisfaction while being a household name for quality low priced merchandise to the community served. The company is now rapidly growing and expanding with the vision of ” One Town, One Prince”, widening their reach to every Filipino in every town to achieve their mission of serving the underserved.
